What artist has not submitted their work to be juried for an exhibition? Not long ago, color slides rather than digital images were used for jurying. The artist's many hours of creative inspiration and energy were captured in a slide image covering a little more than one square inch to be judged worthy or not worthy of exhibition.
For this piece, I gathered over 100 slides of my art, painted each one as a miniature abstract artwork, and assembled them in a grid as pixels within a larger abstract work. If you move in close, you can see the square inch images of many of the artworks I have submitted to be juried over the years.
